On Monday it was announced that, starting with its 2008-2009 school year, Freed-Hardeman University, a private Christian School in Henderson, Tennessee, will give incoming freshmen a MacBook and a choice of an iPhone or iPod touch. Paul Kurtz and the Center For Inquiry in an official statement have joined a growing chorus of critics -which even includes Fox News - in strongly condemning the new Ben Stein crocumentary "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed". Kurtz, in his statement for the CFI, referred to Expelled as anti-science propaganda and anti-intellectualism at its worst.
