I’ve been trying to knock out this post about how Smith & Nephew could be using their website to start a conversation with nurses about wound care products. But to be honest with you, I’m just not feeling it. Instead, I think I’d like to explain to my readers where this blog is headed. I know I’ve been sending out a lot of messages lately to the tune of, “I really want to get out of nursing,” and some might be wondering why I continue to write a nursing blog, and work on projects like OrientedX

This includes an interactive Electoral College map and a preset Google Trends search. Google also leverages some of its other services for this purpose: The primary audience seems to be K-12, but college-level uses can be imagined.

The Russian search giant Yandex, a site of multi-purpose design, has made quite a bit of news as of late. Eight years of growth has allow its revenue to increase from about $400,000 to a reported $167 million in 2007. And as we let known earlier this year, the company, currently comprised of some 1,200 employees, plans to introduce itself on the NASDAQ stock exchange this autumn.
